"We've been ordering Diwali laddus from here since 2008. Three kids, two grandkids later, I still won't buy laddus anywhere else. The flavour is the same as 16 years ago."
Padmavathi S.
Customer since 2008
Every batch starts with real cow ghee. No shortcuts, no vegetable oil, no compromise. That's why Hyderabad keeps coming back to Madhapur for 29 years.

Pure cow ghee
Why Keshav Reddy
We buy cow ghee in bulk from a single trusted dairy in Nalgonda. No blends, no vegetable shortening, no "ghee-flavoured" oil. If a batch costs more to make, the price goes up — we don't substitute.
Production starts at 4 AM. Whatever reaches the counter is made that morning. Nothing is held overnight and re-sold the next day. When it's gone, it's gone — that's the point.
Customers drive from Gachibowli, Secunderabad, and KPHB specifically for the wheat halwa. Offices in HITEC City order bulk boxes for Diwali and weddings every year. The 5,463 reviews are from real visits — not incentivised.
Our Specialties
No batch sits overnight. Whatever you buy today was made before sunrise.
Slow-cooked for four hours with pure ghee and just enough sugar. The kind of halwa you get at a good wedding — except you can have it any day. People drive from Gachibowli, KPHB, and Secunderabad just for this.
Andhra-style, with the right grain and the right sweetness. A festival staple — and a permanent menu item.
Soft cheese discs soaked overnight in chilled saffron milk. Each piece arrives on a small bed of pistachio.
Crispy outside, soft khova filling inside. The one customers always buy as a quick bite while they wait for the halwa.
Traditional varieties — arisa, bellam pindi vantalu, and seasonal specials around Sankranti and Ugadi.
Our Story
Keshav Reddy opened his first shop on Hitech City Road in 1997 with a single conviction: if you won't use pure ghee, don't call it a ghee sweet. That rule has not changed.
Back then, Madhapur was a quieter place. Today it's the IT corridor of Hyderabad, surrounded by offices and tech campuses. The neighbourhood changed. The sweets didn't.
Fresh every morning, without exception
The halwa pot goes on before 6 AM. Whatever isn't sold by close is not put out the next day.
Festival orders, handled properly
Diwali, Ugadi, Dasara — bulk orders welcomed. 3 days advance notice for 5 kg and above.
No vegetable oil, ever
This isn't a marketing line. It's why the halwa looks different and why the taste stays with you.
What customers say
I used to think the wheat halwa my grandmother made was the best I'd ever have. Then I tried Keshav Reddy's. I've been going every Sunday for three years. My wife calls it a pilgrimage.

"Ordered for 47 colleagues for Ugadi. They packed everything perfectly, labelled each box, and delivered before lunch. Not a single complaint — which has literally never happened with any other sweet shop."

IT Manager, Hitech City
"The rasmalai here is a different thing from what you get in hotel buffets. Cold, fragrant, perfectly soft. My friends who visit from Bengaluru always ask me to pack some — it survives the journey."
